Story
Leonard Valentin, seemingly an ordinary man from the city, and his beloved wife Tatjana, a talented pianist, received a very special gift from Leonard’s sister Seraphina on their wedding day. It was a beautiful piano of incredible quality. Tatjana fell in love with the instrument, and time passed harmoniously for the couple.
However, after some time, Tatjana began to succumb to madness. Her works became infused with darkness, her pieces seemingly opening an abyss into the depths of unimaginable horror. She locked herself in her piano room at night, playing until her fingers bled. Leonard reported hearing voices coming from the room, voices that were not his wife’s. Tatjana lost her sanity more and more, becoming unresponsive even during the day.
During piano concerts, she would sit motionless at the piano for minutes before starting to play her new pieces for the audience. Madness, fear, and hopelessness filled the room, leaving an unspeakable emptiness in the hearts of the listeners.
When Leonard could no longer bear his wife’s condition, he contacted his sister Seraphina, who was the head doctor at a psychiatric hospital. Leonard hoped that it was just a phase of overwork and that Tatjana would recover quickly, so he told Seraphina about her condition. However, Seraphina had been waiting for this moment, for it had always been her goal to drive Tatjana insane.
